Frequently asked questions
We recommend participants be 6 years and older. Participants 16 year and under require active adult supervision and assistance from a parent or guardian. Minors should not be left at the gym unsupervised. A ratio of 1 adult to 3 minors is required.
We accept drop-ins without an online booking, but for express check-in we highly recommend booking online ahead of time.
Yes. Before participating in any activities at Steel Peak you need to complete a waiver. Parents or legal guardians must complete the waiver for anyone under 18 years of age. Your waiver is good for 2 years, so you don't have to worry about it every time!
Climbing shoes are required for our climbing walls. If you do not have your own pair of rock climbing shoes you can rent a pair from us at the front desk. Socks are recommended if you are renting shoes.
Clean indoor running shoes are required for our ninja warrior course.
Proper footwear and comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement is all you need to get started. Climbing shoes are required for all climbing walls, and clean indoor running shoes are required for the ninja course. Please bring socks if you are renting shoes. Lastly, it is important to stay hydrated, so a water bottle is recommended as well.
The ninja course is open every day, but there are some course closures for our classes and private events. Classes currently run Monday-Thursday from 5pm to 7:45pm. On Saturdays & Sundays there are occasional 45 minute closures between 10am to 6pm. Please give us a call to confirm availability.
We have a variety of snacks and beverages available for sale. That said, you are welcome to bring outside food and drink. We have a designated eating area at the front of the gym. We ask that you keep all food and beverages off of the mats.
Service animals are welcome, but unfortunately our lease does not allow pets.
Yes, we have lockers available in the bathrooms, please bring your own lock.
Steel Peak Climbing & Ninja is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Lost and found items will be recycled, donated or disposed of if left unclaimed for 30 days.
