1.Ninja Coach/Customer Service Team Member- NOW HIRING

 

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART-TIME - WEEKDAY EVENINGS & WEEKENDS

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a ninja coach and customer service staff. They will work with other coaches to deliver and develop our recreational ninja's skills. We value outgoing, friendly, confident and capable people with varied backgrounds and skill sets. Reliability, attention to detail, strong communication skills, initiative and leadership by example are valued criteria for our staff. Applicants should  have experience in coaching, calisthenics, gymnastics, parkour or ninja warrior and enjoy working in a family friendly environment. This position is primarily weekday evenings for coaching and weekends for customer service shifts.

​SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in coaching, calisthenics, gymnastics, parkour or ninja warrior is a plus

• Confidence, assertiveness and leadership working with children and adults

• Facilitate group classes for youth ranging from 6 - 14 years old

• Strong communication to provide high quality one-on-one and group instruction

• Plan and maintain ninja programming based on class performance

• Coaching and development of participants

• Protect our customers and staff by enforcing gym policies and procedures

• Communicate effectively with ability to command focus and attention while providing instruction and safety orientations

• Adaptable and coachable  

• Answer phones, take messages, schedule parties/groups, register students/participants for classes/clinics/event

• Facilitate amazing birthday parties and group visits

• Hourly cleaning of bathrooms - we are a public facility and messes will occur

• Clean and maintain an organized gym environment for all patrons and staff

• Operate a cash register and computerized point-of-sale (POS) system

• Maintain knowledge of pricing, programs and services

• Provide excellent customer service

WORK HOURS:

Part-time hours available. Weekday evenings for coaching and weekends for customer service. Regular availability on Saturday and Sundays is a must; three weekends a month required.

​PAY LEVEL:

Starting pay: $18.00 - $26.00+/hour (to commensurate with experience).

​

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have a strong work ethic, must be efficient and able to work on a reliable schedule. Applicants should have a positive attitude, be quick problem solvers, and must work well with others. Experience in coaching, calisthenics, parkour or ninja warrior. Applicants must be willing to learn and further develop and improve their coaching and ninja skills.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Staff must be able to perform manual labor, including working at height. Staff must be comfortable with lifting objects up to roughly 50 pounds. Vulnerable sector check required. Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C is a plus.

2. Customer Service/Instructor

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART-TIME - WEEKENDS (required), WEEKDAY EVENINGS (required)

Our Customer Service Team does it all, they are hospitality specialists, climbing instructors, and risk

management officers. We value outgoing, friendly, confident and capable people with varied backgrounds and skill sets. Reliability, attention to detail, strong communication skills, initiative and leadership by example are valued criteria for our staff. Applicants must enjoy climbing in any form and enjoy working in a family friendly environment. Bouldering experience necessary. Ninja experience is a plus. The gym is open to the public outside of regular workday hours, therefore this position primarily works weekends with occasional shifts on weekday evenings. Please see our gym hours to ensure you can commit to the hours for this position.

3. Route Setter

​

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART-TIME - WEEKDAY MORNING

​

Commercial setting experience is a plus. 

Work Hours: Part-time - Monday and Tuesday morning to mid-afternoon with the opportunity to pick up more hours and other work at the gym.

Start date: Immediate

PAY LEVEL: Starting pay: $20.00/hour (to commensurate with experience).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Love to climb!

• Comprehensive understanding of climbing movement

• Must be comfortable working at heights 

• Ability to climb up to V6-V8

• Great communicator and team player

• Receptive to feedback and have a growth mindset

4. Climbing Coach

Applicants must enjoy climbing in any form and enjoy working in a family friendly environment. Bouldering experience necessary. This position is primarily weekday evenings for coaching with the opportunity to pick up more hours and other work at the gym.

• Must possess fundamental climbing skills

• Confidence, assertiveness and leadership working with children and adults

• Facilitate group classes for youth ranging from 6 - 12 years old

• Strong communication to provide high quality one-on-one or group instruction

• Occasional weekend shifts for climbing competitions at other gyms

• Coaching and development of climbing co-instructors
